New Zealand announce dates for Windies, India Tests
CRICKET: WELLINGTON, Aug 30 - New Zealand will play two test matches
and five one-day internationals against both West Indies and India, New
Zealand cricket announced on Friday. New Zealand will play tests against
West Indies in Dunedin and Napier in December before a series of ODIs
beginning on New Year's Eve and carrying through to Jan. 13.
They will play five ODIs in March against India ahead of tests in
Hamilton and Wellington in late March-early April.
The West Indies will also play two Twenty20 internationals and India
one. New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori said he was looking forward to
facing the contrasting styles of the two countries.
"They are two teams who are both on the rise and they will provide a
good measure of where we are at in our own development," Vettori said.
