CRICKET: Sri Rahula College, Katugastota registered their fourth win
in the under-17 division one cricket tournament when they beat St.
Sylvester’s College by 4 wickets in the match played at the Campus
Grounds, Peradeniya.
St. Sylvester’s: 129 in 45.2 overs (V. Weerasinghe 16, B. Ariyawansa
17, K.B. Herath 16, L.M. David 21, Sandun Dilshan 3 for 24, Srimal
Madusanka 3 for 29, Amith Thilakaratne 1 for 9).
Sri Rahula: 130 for 6 wkts in 41.2 overs (Amith Thilakaratne 53 not
out, G. Viduranga 14, N. Dilshan 16, R.B. Weerasinghe 4 for 20).
