You and Your Love

Endless thoughts
Throughout the day
Inexplicable love
Which remains in my heart
Reveal how much I love you...
Though you are far away
I feel you are with me...
I want you
to keep with me forever...
You are my life...
My only dream...
Until the end of my life
I love you
More than everything...
I want nothing
Except you and your love...

An evening by the lake

Boughs bending low
whispers to the ripples
Trees silhouetted against the skies
reflect dimly in the horizon
Oars splash, breaking the silence
sprinkling a shower of diamonds
The sun, bathing in a silver suit
bobs up and down in a dance
A flash of blue light, fell across the sky
In a moment, a triumphant kingfisher
The fisherman’s song, musical to the ear
high and low, sweet and clear
Notes of birds, join the orchestra
Tranquillity fills the evening air

Scarred Pains

This paper cannot hold my thoughts,
To the very ends that, I’ve brought.
My heart and my hands don’t control this pen;
This pen is controlled by scarred pains.
Tomorrow I will be strong inside.
Tomorrow I will make my stand.
My headaches for what it brings,
These words I wish but I could not sing.
Fear and shame control my brain.
Squealing voices control my pain.
Have I lost it all? Have I not?
Have I lost it in a shot?
To break away, to learn, to know;
Yet my wants will never see my needs.
They will not see...you will not see...
To know where my mind grows,
In a long field of friends and foes,
Hidden beneath the endless darkness,
The world is too quick for my weakness.

Real thought

Retailer thinks to enrich himself through customers
Doctor thinks the same with patients
Politician thinks of affluence after tenure
Then, who has a single thought about others?
This question provokes deafening silence
Eventually everybody is selfish.
Concurrently the meek poor fellows (sufferers),
are never to be compensated and suffer forever
Apparently one thing is visible,
human values are going down and loss of mercy,
compassion and spirituality might have led to this scenario

Wake Up!

Sun, comes up and goes down
Making the whole world brown,
Moon; calls to share the beauty
To fulfil the nature’s duty.

Oh dear, it’s of such a waste!
These people have no other taste.
Keeping so much work on head,
No more time to spend on bed.

Only eyes and ears
Hardly shed any tears,
More like robots
Walk like acrobats....

C’mon! Wake up!
Have a look around,
What is the use of life,
With no nature in sight?

Nature is a gift for you
To make a fit in you....
Work hard to achieve your goal;
Take nature and leisure in roll.

One love to last forever,

One dream to have to share
One special person close to you
To make each day so rare.
One love to stand beside you
One face to make you smile
One voice to say “I love you”
And make your life worthwhile.
One love to warm and comfort you
One heart that’s always true
One touch to hold the magic
That only shines for you

The Lemon Tree

The lemon tree outside my window
Is laden with ripe lemons branches high and low
The lemons are sour not sweet or bitter
A haven for birds to sit and twitter.

Morning there’s a great big din
Each bird finding its own branch to sing
There’s a lone magpie keeping a watchful eye
May be last of all he wants to weep and sigh

Oh! magpie why are you sad and late?
Have you lost your partner, your life’s mate?
Did you know that I too share your fate?
To sing when there’s sadness, is really great!

The lemon tree is an eyesore for passer-by kids
And often pelt a stone or two. The naughty kids
I pick the ripe ones and keep for them.
They take them with a ‘thank you’ and a wide grin

The lemon flowers are white and fragrant
The fruit is sour the rind pungent
The lemons are like our life; a mixture
of sweet and sour
We feel it when we spend our life every hour.

This is a true picture of the lemon tree outside
My room window and sometimes the magpie
comes into my room and sits on my bed
and signs a sad song.

Human Values

Greed,
In human world,
Leads all of us,
To compete,
In day to day life.

Competition,
In neighbourhoods,
In societies,
Among nations,
Drives as to tension.

Tension,
Brings unrest,
Invites agitation,
Causes disharmony,
Beckons strife.

Strife,
Spreads bitterness,
Casts shadows,
Making lives desperate,
Causing disharmony.

Disharmony,
In families,
In communities,
Among nations,
Crushes human values.

Human values,
mould minds of people,
To follow virtues,
To avoid evil,
Hence need to safeguard,
Human values.

Hollow soul

Misty misty wind,
flying without wings,
take my hollow soul,
where blood is never cold,
guns are never born,
loved ones forever home...

Fiery furious pain,
running through my veins,
searching for the love,
forever lost in vain,
yet storming in my head,
the vision of deadly pain...

Tears nor blood left in my heart,
coz the happiness of
my life was torn apart,
pure little hearts,
were killed by bloody darts,
which came out of the dark,
to kill the sun of the vast...

Stories of the dead,
talks to the rest,
“giving our lives,
has made it a mess...”
