One way street

Traffic on Thurstan Road was held up before the school rush at 1.30 p.m. on Monday. After the motorists and schoolchildren 'suffered' for some time, a motorcade emerged from the opposite direction of the strictly one way road and turned to the Lane that is Fifth. It was none other than Ra-Blue, who complains with unfailing regularity about inconvenience caused by closure of roads due to security reasons.

A van with love!

Atta-Leader has bought a brand new Micro jeep and a spare wheel. The duty free vehicle was a lovable gift to his Em Pee sweetheart Chand-Rani of the Banda generation. That was the unofficial hot topic at the recent Green Party meeting at which a shy Atta-Leader tried to hide the bitter truth from his colleagues. Better than the leader eh!

Police complaint

Atta-Leader decided to make a 'donation' after his Y-fee lodged a complaint at the Bamba Police that the politico is not giving her food and ill-treating her. She had told the police that her husband keeps her under 'house arrest' and restricts her movements without providing even the basic human needs.

Sharing the honours

After the PC polls setback, a handful of Bell Party stalwarts met at Soome's place and analysed the reasons for the party's downfall. They found that the governing types' success in eradicating terrorism had won the hearts of the masses. Hence, they decided to vote in favour of the emergency, hoping to share the honours.

Battle is on!

Although Ra-Blue had another close call at the Green working committee meeting, the battle is not yet over, Johnny Boy has said. The Green seniors who are demanding reforms alleged that though their leader heads the Asian body for democracy, there is no democracy within his party. They vowed to take the battle forward until Ra-Blue steps down.

Sa-jeet silenced

Fearing that the rebels would take him head on, Ra-Blue has finalised a raw deal with Saj-eet, the love slave, assuring the latter a post that is deputy. That prompted Sa-jeet to keep mum at the last working committee meeting. But the poor slave little knows that the leader is taking him for a good ride.
