Angelo and Kusal excel for Colts CC

Angelo Perera took a four wicket haul and Kusal Janith Perera stroked
a splendid 108 to help Colts CC take a massive first innings lead over
Kandy YCC on the opening day of their SLC under 23 division one
tournament match which commenced at Havelock Park yesterday.
Kandy YCC: 56 (J. Chandratilleke 23, T. Perera 2 for 8, A. Perera 4
for 10, R. Weerasinghe 2 for 1).
Colts CC: 313 for 7 (T. Attanayake 94, K. Perera 108, A. Perera 49,
K. Elvitigala 24 n.o, C. Ranaweera 5 for 72).
Sri Lanka schools pile up 375/9
Half centuries from Ashan Priyanjan (50), K. Peiris (81) and Ishan
Jayaratne (51) helped the Sri Lanka Schools under 20 team reach a
formidable 375 for 9 in their first innings on the opening day of their
SLC under 23 division one tournament match which began at Braybrooke
Place yesterday.

Panadura shot out for 116
Dhanushka Kolombage returned excellent figures of six wickets for 39
to help SSC dismiss Panadura SC for a paltry 116 runs in their first
innings on the opening day of their SLC under 23 division one tournament
match which began at Maitland Place yesterday.
Panadura SC: 116 (T. Thushan 25, D. Kolombage 6 for 39, M. Fernando 4
for 26).
SSC: 128 for 6 (N. Perera 45, J. Sriyapala 26, M. Fonseka 2 for 46,
D. Pushpakumara 3 for 47).
Moratuwa SC well placed
Moratuwa SC were well placed at 111 for 3 in reply to Ragama CC first
innings total of 192 on the opening day of their SLC under 23 division
one tournament match which began at the Thurstan College grounds
yesterday.
