Dharmaraja College get three titles

SPORT: Dharmaraja College, Kandy has a good run in their sports activities as they won at badminton, soccer and chess. The tournaments were conducted by the Education Department (Central Province) recently.

BADMINTON: Champions Dharmaraja College, 1st runners-up: St. Anthony's College, Katugastota 2nd runners-up: Trinity College, Kandy. The matches were played at the Peradeniya University gymnasium.

SOCCER: Champions Dharmaraja College, Kandy; 1st runners-up: Zahira College, Gampola, 2nd runners-up: Anuruddha Kumara N. S. Nawalapitiya. The soccer tournament was held at the Weegulawatte grounds, Gampola.

CHESS: Champions Dharmaraja College, Kandy; runners-up: Kingswood College, Kandy; 2nd runners-up: St. Sylvester's College, Kandy. The tournament was held at Trinity College, kandy.
