Honey will cure cold?

Honey possesses lots of useful properties. The fact that this sweet delicacy can replace even antibiotics became known recently, thanks to Canadian scientists from university of Ottawa discovery.

It appears, honey effectively struggles with cold and flu. And not simply does it remove basic symptoms of these diseases, but also treats them. First of all it concerns cold.

Experts managed to find out that honey contains substances, which destroy bacteria and viruses causing chronic cold.

They carried out a research of honey influence on 11 microorganisms, including staphylococcus and blue pus bacillus. To scientists' surprise, at contact to honey all bacteria, including those that are steady against action of antibiotics, died.
