Children’s play staged

The children’s stage play, Ape Panthiya, organised by the Children Skills Development Programme (CSDP) in connection with Children’s Day, was staged at the YMBA Hall in Borella recently.

The children who took part in the play were Punya Vidmini Senadheera (Bandarawatte Parakrama Vidyalaya, Gampaha), Nilupul Dilshan (D.D. Athulathmudali Primary School, Matugama), Ayeshi Isurika, Heran Layantha Ratnayake, Deshan Dananjaya, Mohommed Rasheed and Kasun Chathuranga (all from C.W.W. Kannangara Maha Vidyalaya, Colombo 8), Lakshmi Priyangika and Dasuni Wasana (Siddhartha Maha Vidyalaya, Thalapathpitiya), Regina Manori (Good Shepherd Convent, Kotahena), Sapna Anjali Peiris (Nimala Maria Balika Maha Vidyalaya, Thudella), Sanduni Tharuka (Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo 8), Thamali Peiris (Thiragama Maha Vidyalaya, Kurunegala), Nimmika Pasindu (Dharmapala Vidyalaya, Pannipitiya), Udari Nethmini and Amandi Indeewari (Lyceum Internatioal School, Nugegoda), Karshini Chamindi (Kolonnawa Balika Vidyalaya), Kaveesha Maduhansi (Musaeus College, Colombo) and Devindra Sameera (St. John’s College, Nugegoda).
