Mobitel's Upahara package presented to IGP



Mrs. Leisha De Silva, Chandrasena, Chairperson, Sri Lanka Telecom and Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel presents the first SIM card to IGP Jayantha Wickramaratne. Suren J. Amarasekera, CEO, Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel and Chandika Vitharana, General Manager, Sales and Distribution, Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel look on.

STC General Trading Co., Ltd., in partnership with the National Mobile Services Provider Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel introduced the Upahara package to the Sri Lanka Police recently under the initiative of taking forward the Mahinda Chintana program.

The widely popular and revolutionary communication package is part of the national endeavour in bringing unparalleled economic benefits to the state sector and pensioners. The handing over ceremony was held at the Police auditorium at Independence Mawatha, Colombo 7. Senior Deputy Inspector Generals of Police were also present.
