Training program for MPs' staff

The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs is conducting a training program to enhance the knowledge of the personal staff of Member of Parliamentarians representing the Southern Province.

This program will focus in training the staff of the parliamentarians in using effective computer applications, building stronger links between the public and government departments, introducing effective and efficient office procedures and systems, productivity and 5S concept, matters related to Human Rights and awareness of the facilities provided by the Ministry.

The organisers are planing to give each participant who successfully completes the program a certificate from the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs. The objective of this program is to make the personal staff more productive to assist the Parliamentarians to serve their people in an effective and efficient manner.

The training program will be held on November 4, 5 at the Institute of Management Development and Training, affiliated to the Chief Secretariat office of the Southern Province, Wakwella, Galle, at 9.00 a.m. under the patronage of Minister of Parliamentary Affairs M. H. Mohamed.
