Seminar on National Budget 2009

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will hold its seminar on the National Budget on November 13, from 8.30 am -12.30 pm at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.

The Policy Directions of the 2009 Budget will be analysed by Sumith Abeysinghe, Secretary to the Treasury while the Tax Proposals will be analysed by Ms. Premila Perera, Partner, Head of Tax Services, KPMG Sri Lanka.

The Industry Sector views, panel discussion and open forum will follow.

The panel will comprise S. R. Attygalle, Director General, Fiscal Policy, R. P. L. Weerasinghe, Senior Tax Advisor, Ministry of Finance, a senior officer from the Department of Inland Revenue, Duminda Hulangamuwa, Partner, Ernst and Young and N. R. Gajendran, Senior Partner, Gajma and Co.

Spot the Smart Service Seconds

A one-day program titled 'Spot the Smart Service Seconds' facilitated by Dhammika Kalapuge will be held on Friday, November 28 at the Ceylon Continental Hotel.
