Lakmuthu Ithurum Themasa to promote children's savings

The newest product launched by Lankaputhra Development Bank is Lakmuthu Ithurum Themasa focused at promoting the savings habit among children. This scheme implemented on an islandwide basis from October 1 will continue till December 31.

The objective of the scheme is to promote the savings habit among children and also generate funds for the country's development. The countrywide branch network of the bank will spearhead this campaign.

As a gesture, Lankaputhra Development Bank will present a souvenir to each and every child opening a Lakmuthu Savings Account.

An attractive till and pen are also offered to those opening an account during this festive season till December 31.

Children opening Lakmuthu Children's Savings Accounts will receive a number of special benefits too.

These include an attractive interest rate of 12% offered by any state bank in the country, fully state guarantee to your funds and the opportunity to set up an account with a minimum amount of Rs.500.
