SLT Mobitel sponsors Hilton Colombo Residence Fun Run

Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel, the national mobile services provider is the main sponsor of the Hilton Colombo Residence Fun Run 2008 today at 9 a.m..

The main aim of the annual run is to bring together people from all walks of life to share in an experience of fun and appreciate the value of good health and fitness.

The event this year will add value by gathering funds which would be channelled to social causes such as the development of sports and the nurture and harness of the athletic prowess and talent of disadvantaged children.

Suren J. Amarasekera, CEO, Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel said, "it gives me great pleasure to support this endeavour of promoting sports as well as the importance of having a balance between being both mentally and physically fit.

Manesh Fernando, General Manager, Hilton Colombo Residencies said, " this is the sixth year that we are having our Fun Run Program and we eagerly look forward to it being a complete success in terms of participation, as in previous years."
