The spectacular annual ‘Winter Paradise’ snow show, conducted by Excel World in Colombo commenced last week with the participation of around 200 children.

The sixth snow show, conducted during the December festive season every year will end on January 4.

During this period the Excel World entertainment park has many colourful decorations including a giant pandal at the main entrance.

Excel World, Director/CEO Ravi Wijenathan told the launch ceremony, at the entertainment park premises at T.B. Jayah Mawatha, Colombo, that the snow show is held only at the Excel World.

He said the objective of holding such a show is to help children of all communities to get together and enjoy the Christmas and New Year festive season. “Last year nearly 90,000 persons enjoyed the snow show and we expect many more this year, since we have added many other entertainment activities including top musical bands with live music and various other competitions.

According to the organising committee, snow shows commence at 6.30 pm daily.
