Kapila Welmillage - Country Supply Chain Manager, Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Limited, Dusty Alahakoon - Country Marketing Manager, Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Limited, Manish Chaturvedi - Country Manager, Sri Lanka and Maldives, Coca- Cola Far East Limited, Sarath Jayasinghe - Country Human Resource Manager, Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Limited, handing over the bottled water to Dr. Athula Kahandaliyanage - Secretary to the Ministry of Healthcare and Nutrition.

Sri Lanka is currently faced with one of its worst ever humanitarian crises.

Over one million people have been displaced from their habitual residences in the Northern Peninsula.

In such a crisis, the most important needs for survival are water, food and medicines.

In an initiative to provide support to the people of the North and help them face this situation, Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka joined massive efforts undertaken by civil society and the government and came forward with a donation of 100,000 bottles of water.

To ensure speedy delivery of the 100,000 bottles of Kinley Water to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Vavuniya, Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka handed over the consignment to Dr. Athula Kahandaliyanage, Secretary, Ministry of Healthcare and Nutrition, Sri Lanka.
