A New 'Adventura' Begins!

There is an 'adventurous' secret at Darley Road which is evident with children flocking to Excel World for a fabulous time. However, why should fun rides be all about only for kids? Surely the mature generation including senior citizens can have fun too?

Secretly located in a happening corner of Excel World is wonderful escapade of adventure called 'Adventura' which will enthrall enthusiasts with a whale of a time. "We are continuously striving to bring the best of adventure and thrilling entertainment and this time we thought of doing something over the edge" said Ramesh Seneviratne of Excel World.

He said, "We have seen massive successes with our December 'Snow Dome' event becoming a thrilling experience for mature people especially the older people because it's not all about children who are in search of fun".

True enough, unwinding after a hard day's work with good rides and a sense of peaceful relaxation with a stress-reliever is vital in life. Like they say, all work and no play makes us very dull people!

Speaking to the Sunday Observer about the latest entertainment rides, he said "We brought down some of these artistic creations from the company 'Preston Barbie' based in Italy because it is renowned for its state-of-the-art quality amusement rides which are unrivalled anywhere else".

The special 'Pirate Ship' ride, 'Bee Ride' and the Carousel were especially flown from Italy with high quality safety functions and effective regulations pertaining to usage. "The reason of bringing expensive and good-quality rides was because we have to ensure that safety precautions are met during rides because we cater to everyone from 5 years to 50 years" said Ramesh.

"We have seen massive successes with our December 'Snow Dome' event becoming a thrilling experience for mature people especially the older people because it's not all about children who are in search of fun", he said.

The 'Swan Ride' and the 'Train' come from Hong Kong which offer a sense of variety to the rides because it is vital that everyone has fun.

The main attraction of 'Adventura' is the fact that bumper cars are back into action. "Earlier, we did have some bumper cars but they were rather small and not very versatile. However, this time around, we have tailor-made bumper cars that can accommodate two and has plenty of action with more 'bumpiness' and energy" said Ramesh with a smile.

Adding more glitter to their 4D simulation concept, 'Adventura' will make the energetic action escapade a complete one. Partnering with Showscan Entertainment in USA, a complete Showscan simulation theatre with Showscan films are showing in Sri Lanka which Excel World operates, the very first motion simulation theatre located in Sri Lanka.

The Excel World theme park features amazing a "Showscan 4-D/H-D Simulation Theatre(tm)" package with the famous Showscan 4-D/H-D Simulation Theatre(tm) that includes the MM4 Maxi-Motion base platforms, the show control system with a HD server, HD projectors, a complete audio system and also 4-D effects!
