Nature is splendour - 2009

Nature in Splendour 2009 an exhibition which contains the photos of waterfalls, taken by Ronali Abeywickrema will be held at the Municipal Library, in Badulla on August 15 and 16.

Waterfalls and landscapes captured by Ronali in the up country areas, Badulla, Kandy, Matale, Nuwara Elilya, Kalutara, Ratnapura and in the suburbs of Colombo will be displayed at the exhibition.

Ronali who is a lawyer by profession held her first exhibition - Nature in Splendour 2008 in Colombo at the Art gallery in December 2008.

There will be on display the 2nd highest waterfall in the island, Kurundu oya falls and other remote and unheard of yet beautiful waterfalls such as Kudalu Falls, Pareiyyan falls etc which cover the Moneragala district as well.

There will be on display photographs of land scapes covering Ingiriya, Haldumulla, Poonagala etc. My aim is to hold Nature In Splendour annually in most of the principal towns so that people of our tiny Island will get to know the wealth mother nature has bestowed upon our tiny but beautiful country.
