NTB opens branch in Vavuniya

Nations Trust Bank (NTB) will set-up its 38th branch in Vavuniya on Monday (24).

Heralding a new era in banking for the people of the area, the Bank will set-up operations in Vavuniya as the first step towards the Bank's plans for expansion to the North and the East. The new branch will be opened in the presence of Bank officials, invitees and key personalities from the area.

Chairman of Nations Trust Bank PLC, Ajith Gunewardene said, 'The opening of this branch in Vavuniya is poignant as it marks the Bank's affirmation in taking dynamic banking service and facilities to areas that hitherto were disadvantaged.

We are confident that our services will be of immense value to the people of Vavuniya and its suburbs. This marks our entry to the North and East with more branches being planned in the near future, thus taking dynamism and edge in financial services literally islandwide.'

The new branch will be located at 222, Kandy Road Vavuniya,
