Pangiri Oil to prevent mosquito bites

If people do not adhere to the Health Department's repeated requests of keeping their environment clean and tidy to eliminate the dengue mosquito menace, the use of native herbal oil Pangiri (oil of lemon eucalyptus), which is commonly available in the market is the best remedy to control mosquito bites, Health Ministry Senior Epidemiologist Dr. Sudath Peiris told the Sunday Observer. He said in addition, people could use either mosquito repellents containing DEET or picaridin (KBR3020) which are in liquid form and cream form to get rid of mosquitoes.
