STC, Samsung join to give 'Upahara' phones

Sri Lanka State Trading Corporation, (STC) the official supplier to the state sector tied up with Samsung Corporation to provide mobile phones to state sector employees. The official launch of the program was held recently with the participation of Trade Marketing Development, Co-operatives and Consumer Services Minister Bandula Gunawardena, representatives of the Samsung Corporation and SLT Mobitel Chairman Leisha De Silva Chandrasena.

Samsung mobile phones at discounted prices under an easy payment scheme, courtesy of Mobitel's "Upahara" mobile package will be on offer.SALA Agency, the authorised distributor of Samsung products will provide the after sales services.
