AATSL Awards ceremony

H. M. Hennayake Bandara

The second Best Annual Report and Accounts Award Ceremony organised by the AATSL in collaboration with the Ministry of Education will be held at the BMICH on September 24 under the patronage of Minister of Education, Susil Premajayantha. President of the AATSL, H. M. Hennayake Bandara saidd that Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards, Certificates and Cash prizes will be awarded to School Development Societies selected from a total of 329 islandwide National Schools for the Best Annual Report and Accounts. The School Development Society that has presented the Best Annual Report and Accounts will be awarded the Gold Award together with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

The runner up will be awarded the Silver Award together with a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 and the 3rd place will be awarded the Bronze Award together with a cash prize of Rs. 15,000.

In addition to the above, 3 School Development Societies will be selected from every district and awards will be given.

Bandara further said that AATSL is proud to organize this event with the objective of providing guidance on the proper presentation of Annual Report and Accounts in line with the accepted standards in presenting Annual Report and Financial Statements and fulfilling its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) being a national educational institution.
