President praised for inviting foreign investors

America currently has a policy of non-tolerance towards terrorism. Due to recent global developments, America would willingly work with any country towards peace initiatives. One should also not forget the fact that it was America which took the first step of proscribing the LTTE, said Sri Lankan-born Financial Consultant and CEO of Kosalya International (USA), Kosala G. Tantula.

Tantula, who is domiciled in Washington DC, left our shores London bound, as an accounting student in the late sixties and then proceeded to USA in 1975 where he has established the oldest accounting practice by a Sri Lankan American.

Tantula, who is how on a short visit to Sri Lanka, told the Sunday Observer that President Mahinda Rajapaksa has done reasonably well under limited circumstances.

He said if the political and social environment is sound it will not be that difficult to bring investors for the development of the country.

Tantula emphasized that the recent statement made by President Mahinda Rajapaksa inviting foreign investors, is a good first step, but should be followed by positive action.
