are pleased to have been recognized with this global award and in fact
should thank all are stakeholders specially our customers for the trust
they have placed in our Products and Services.
Very few organisations have been able to post significant sales
growth during these turbulent times as we have done, let alone get
through such situations.
The attempt to be different from the competition and clearly focus on
channel strategy has brought increased market share in almost all key
segments that we operate in.
He further stated that 'The growth in Market share of the segments
have been achieved during a space of just two and a half years which is
quite an achievement for any brand.
Further, the achievement of market leadership has been gained in
seven diverse segments, which is not an easy task for any organisation.
The main reason for such a turnaround has been the clear focus on
customer centric services and solutions together with credible brand
building activities carried out by the group.
The recruitment of specialized marketers to the company has also
facilitated a number of innovative projects and strategies that have
given us the edge in many sectors that we operate'.
The Browns group has also demonstrated that relevant and targeted
communication and brand building does not need large budgets to achieve
the following.
The in-house creative team has played a vital role together with the
brand teams to facilitate the above achievements.
Tractors with 70% market share, is our fastest growing segment with
the Brands Tafe and Sifang under our portfolio.
Prakash said, 'In the four wheel tractor segment, our market share
for the year 2008 grew up to 68% and in the 2 wheel segment we now have
a total share of over 33% in an otherwise highly fragmented market.
