Student success in Polish art contest

Seven students of Southlands College Galle have received awards recently in the Polish Biennial International Graphic Art competition for children participated by the children of 36 countries in the world.

Sammani Madusankani of grade 9 of Southlands College has won a gold medal with a merit certificate. She has been a success in several local and international competitions earlier.Methmi Jayasingha, Chamini Kularatna, Midara Wickramasooriya, Sinali Kumarasingha, Sevmini Yapa Pathirana and Kasuni Gayathrika have also been credited in this competition.

They have also won awards in several local and international competitions earlier.
