inaugurated on December 07, Highways Development Ministry sources said.
The 29 kilometre road will be constructed with a Rs. 21,917 million
financial contribution from the Japanese Government.
The proposed project will be completed in three phases. In the first
phase a 11 kilometre road will be constructed from Kottawa to Kaduwela.
The balance will be completed in two stages with the completion of
the first phase.
Kottawa town is located 15 kilometres from the Colombo city.
After the completion of the construction work of the proposed road a

The sources expressed confidence that the traffic problem prevailing
