R. A. Gunesekera's three victories were the highlights at the 4th Kegalle District Open Masters' Athletic Championship yesterday. A total of seven records too were established six by men and the other by W. Dhammika Menike (Moneragala Dist) in the 1500m event. She clocked 5.30.2 secs.

Minister for Sports and Public Recreation, Gamini Lokuge was the Chief Guest while Chief Minister Sabaragamawa, Maheepala Herath was the guest of honour.
