Rapid Chess Tournament Dec.12

CHESS: The Mercantile Chess Association has made arrangements to hold a Rapid Chess Tournament on Sunday December 12 at Lions Activity Centre, Vidya Mawatha, Colombo 7. The Rapid Tournament is open for any of the Mercantile Chess teams consisted with 3 players and each company could send maximum number of three teams. Entry fee is Rs. 1,000 per team. The champions will be presented the Mercantile Rapid Chess Trophy and gold medals, second and third placed teams will receive silver and bronze medals at the awards ceremony to be held on the same day at 3 p.m. at the Lions Activity Centre Auditorium, Colombo 7.
