BAM wins Best Corporate citizens award

Homagama Base Hospital: The award winning project

BAM Holdings Ltd. the holding company of the BAM Group of companies, pioneers in the apparel sector was recognized for their concern and contribution towards the society and world by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka at the awards ceremony to honour Best Corporate Citizens 2009 held recently.

The BAM Holdings was selected as the best corporate citizen under the Rs 10 bn turnover category and also won the gold award for special projects in the field of healthcare for the Homagama base hospital development project at the ceremony.

The BAM flagship special project was the construction of the Homagama Base Hospitals OPD and Diagnostic centre at a cost of Rs: 100 Million which is the stage one phase one of its three-phased master development plan.

The stage two of phase one which is the construction of 288-bed in-patient facility has already commenced.
