Water Board's million dollar contract
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB ) has awarded the
construction of Towns North Water Supply Project II to a joint venture
between an Indian company, Nagarjuna Construction Co. Ltd., and the
Sierra construction Pvt. Ltd., Sri Lanka.
The Rs. 4,500m project funded by an ODA loan from JBIC, is for the
construction of Ja-Ela, Ekala and Kandana water supply scheme and the
construction of Mahara and Biyagama water supply scheme.Sierra
