Galhenage 42 off 44 balls:

Telijjawila Central win by 98 runs

Telijjawila Central College trounced Hambantota Vidyalaya by 98 runs in their Ran Kekulu trophy division three second round cricket match played at the Hambantota UC grounds on December 8.

L.S. Galhenage top scored with 42 off 44 deliveries which included a six and five fours. The Hambantota Vidyalaya bowlers conceded 32 wides and six no balls to boost the total extra runs to a mammoth 50.

Telijjawila SC 184 for 9 in 50 overs (L.S. Galhenage 42, L.H. Weerakoon 26, H.U. Jayawardena 23, N.G. Ranaweera 11, S.V. Oshantha 3 for 35, M.G. Sanjaya 2 for 19) Hambantota Vidyalaya 86 all out in 32.5 overs (M.G. Sanjaya 27, K.I. Asanka 12, A.G. Ganindu 3 for 16, L.S. Galhenage 2 for 16, M.G. Nuwantha 2 for 17, H.U. Jayawardene 2 for 22).
