CRICKET: Veteran cricketer-cum-coach Suresh Peiris scored 62 (6 fours, 1 six 68 balls) and also took 2 for 26 to guide Kandy Cricket Club to the semi-finals of Sri Lanka Division one inter-club limited over cricket tournament when they scored a 21 run win over their traditional rival Kandy Youths Cricket Club in the quarter-finals played at the Pallekelle Cricket Stadium.
