Alpha launches multipurpose Operation Table

The OT 101 a state-of-the-art, all purpose Operation Theatre (OT) table can be used for all types of surgeries, including procedures that need C-arms and X-ray image intensifiers.

In the health industry where efficiency, flexibility and economy counts, the OT 101 provides hospitals with an OT table that could meet all operation theatre needs in one product.

Traditionally hospitals had to purchase a general surgery table, a Urology surgical table an Orthopaedic table an ENT OT table and a C-arm table separately.

This is costly and demands more room in the limited space of an operation theater, where you need to purchase 2 to 3 or more OT table but the OT 101 could be used for all theatre surgeries.

Director, Alpha Pharmaceuticals, Johanson Mony said, the secret of the OT 101 lies in the possibility of a large number of movements the unique positioning of the table top to the main body and flexibility to suit different surgical and theatre needs.

The OT 101 has 12 movements. Six movements are controlled by remote control.

The up-down movements, The right lateral and left lateral movements / The Trendelenberg and Reverse Trendelenberg movements are controlled electrically.

The unique position of the table top fixed to the main body allows sufficient space on one side, for the use of C-arms.

This feature makes it possible for the OT 101 to be used for Cardiac surgeries / Cardiac catheterization and Orthopaedic surgeries where a C-arm is used.
