Seylan, Sampath Banks victorious
A sparkling 180 run partnership for the fourth wicket between Ian
Daniel (117 runs in 110 balls inclusive of 13 fours and 3 sixes) and
Lasith Fernando (65) helped Seylan Bank beat HNB on the D&L system at
the 17th Singer-MCA Premier League which got off to a start yesterday.
Meanwhile in another game in the same tournament a splendid double by
Jeevan Mendis (65 not out & 3/25) and a stylish 75 runs by Kaushal Silva
gave Sampath Bank a comfortable win over Unichela in the D&L system.
