Vijitha Central bids 'goodbye' to Keerthi Kumara

FAREWELL: Students and staff of Vijitha Central College, Dickwella bade farewell to captain K.H. Keerthi Kumara who joined the Engineering Faculty of the University of Ruhuna as a physical training instructor.

Keerthi joined the school as a PTI 20 years ago and had an illustrious career. He was an athletic coach and guided Olympian Manjula Kumara, L.G.A. Tharanga, S.L. Asanka Nayananda, L.H. Sajani Madhushika and H.L.D. Imesha Nikeshala who have represented the country at international level.

Principal of Vijitha Central Nimal Dissanayake in a moving speech requested the present students to take an example from Vijitha who did a lot of work for the school.
