Tennis coaching in Kandy

TENNIS: Kandy District Sports Development Foundation will promote tennis for the under-privileged boys and girls in schools in and around Kandy.

Tennis racquets and balls will be provided for both boys schools and girls schools and coaching classes too will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. at the Kandy Police Grounds tennis courts. Franklyn Jacobs who was a well-known rugby player in his days was also a tennis player who will be in-charge of this program.

Tennis is another sport added to Kandy District Sports Foundation's coaching program initiated by General Anuruddha Ratwatte.
