Muslims must rally round President - Faizer Mustapha

The Muslims are the main sector who are enjoying the maximum benefit as terrorism was eradicated from the North and the East said Deputy Tourism Minister Faizer Mustapha. Deputy Minister Mustapha was speaking at the election rally at Kandy recently. He said as President Mahinda Rajapaksa wiped out terrorism, all communities in this country live peacefully and unitedly.

Deputy Minister Mustapha said that the majority of Sinhala and Tamil people have joined the President to assure his victory to pay their gratitude for achieving a historic victory against LTTE terrorism.

He said the Muslim community should never forget President Mahinda Rajapaksa for taking steps to resettle the Muslims who were driven off from Muttur and Kinniya by the LTTE in their own homes. The Deputy Minister said the UNP did nothing to protect the rights of the Muslims.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa is the only leader who treats all alike as all are Sri Lankans.
