China's Triangle Tyre Group holds business summit

"Low carbon economy green manufacturing - Global Tyre Industry business summit for sustainable growth" was held recently by Weihai Municipal government and organised by the Triangle Group.

Triangle Tyre Group is China's largest Tyre Manufacturer which exports large volumes of tyres to over 100 countries in the world and simultaneously leads China's ever growing car industry as the leading original equipment tyre supplier.

More than 250 agents and representatives of Triangle Tyres worldwide participated in this significant event.

Thus, signifying importance from Sri Lanka, Triangle Tyre, Sole Agents, Reliance Lanka Private Limited was invited as a distinguished agent and was represented by the Company's Chairman, Deepal Gunaratne and Samnatha Perera, the General Manager. Gunaratne is also the Chairman of Sri Lanka Tyre Importer's Association.

The Triangle Group, has understood that the earth, is the common home of mankind, whilst industry economy brings forth civilisation and livelihood, the environment of the earth is facing more and more challenges. To respond to these challenges the giant Tyre manufacturer together with its local partners have adopted to face a new challenge to protect the earth and environment and to build an ecological civilisation.

Low carbon economy, green manufacturing are the guidelines of the Triangle group for the transition from industrial civilisation to ecological civilisation. As a responsible corporate citizen in the tyre industry, the mission is to create a new manufacturer with low carbon emissions and green environment friendly and high efficiency and to make continuous progress in increased productivity from an ecological civilisation.

They are committed to building a development model that integrates China's financial social environmental responsibilities and abide by guidelines of promoting human progress.

The company will advocate and promote low carbon economy and low carbon life-cycle and will constantly service the global market with innovative technology from green products. A model to emulate.
