St. Sebastian's record 6th win

CRICKET: St. Sebastian's College, Moratuwa cruised to their six outright for the season when they scored an innings and 40 runs win over St. Sylvester's College, Kandy in their schools under 19 cricket tournament match concluded at Police grounds, Kandy yesterday. The Sebastianites won with plenty of time to spare.

St. Sebastian's continuing from their overnight score of 280 for 8 wickets made 305. Samitha de Mel hit an aggressive 71 and Charith Fernando mad 37.

Facing a defeat of 217 runs, the Sylvestrians were dismissed for 177. Amila Aponso took 6 for 74 to end up with a match bag of 8 for 94.

St. Sylvester's: 88 and 177 (Waruna Wijesinghe 35, Nuwan Nilantha 22, Faiz Ahamed 22, Amila Aponso 6 for 74, Anoj Gayashan 2 for 12).

St. Sebastian's: 305 (Samitha de Mel 71, Charitha Fernando 37, Dananjaya Athauda 2 for 100, Waruna Wijesinghe 2 for 33, Dushan Malalasena 2 for 20, Faiz Ahamed 3 for 60).
