There is nothing more yummy to
tantalise your taste buds than going international with the right
flavours and surprises delicious cuisine has to offer. The new theme
nights dished by Galadari hotel infuses the right essence of food fiesta
for any patron in order for them to have a little bit of everything.
Showcasing the best that the world has to offer, the theme nights are
now on at the Coffee Shop with many of Galadari’s loyal clientele taking
advantage of the cuisine.
Monday: On Monday, be treated to a healthy and unique blend of
Mediterranean food with the freshest seafood, the delicious lean and red
meats, poultry and vegetables.
Tuesday: Take the multinational European plane ride which see you
sampling the finest tastes of the Western world. Unite with all nations
like the EU and delight your loved ones in a meal that is heart-warming
and just about right.
Wednesday: Yummy Italian will take centre stage with the Galadari
giving the best of Italia to our doorstep. Be it polenta, pasta,
bolognaise or even pizza, the world of Italy will spew forth and all you
have to do is say Buon Apetito and start tucking in! Discovering the
world’s richest and most varied, with dishes perfect for every occasion.
The food available on Wednesday nights at the Coffee Shop is an Italian
theme buffet. The Italian food party is a great way to share of sampling
many Italian cuisine prepared by our chefs.
Thursday: Seafood mania is the thing to have with the fresh fish
platter and shellfish to take on your high. A perfect sea food theme
will be laid on Thursday nights, which is, at the moment, the most
popular theme night. The Buffet, newly remodeled, serves a bounty of
fresh fish and succulent seafood. The buffet combination is perfect
where all the items brought in fresh by our vendors and laid out for you
to select and get them cooked as per your preference.
Friday: The Far Eastern Odyssey is the best way to discover cuisine
of the yore days. We all love healthy far eastern cuisine that has
achieved much popularity in Sri Lanka over the years. According to the
experts, the Far Eastern dishes are prepared by chefs according to
authentic recipes that have been time-tested and based on reliability so
sit down and unwind on a Friday.
Saturday: Going International is what we love to do and a buffet is
set in perfect synchronisation to all tastes considered. From Asia,
Europe, Far Eastern, Gulf to the African region, you won’t be
disheartened if it is the diversity that you’re looking for.
Sunday: Let’s go Mongolian with the cooking of the nomads and the
people who wanted the best food on the move. Mongolian cuisine offers
something nice to the extreme climate we have been affected with and the
traditional diet of Mongolian food primarily consists of dairy products,
meat, and animal fats. Use of vegetables and spices are sure to tickle
your taste sensations.
Bring on the BBQ! More recently, the Galadari Hotel tied up with Le
Royal Meridien Hotel in Chennai to offer the best delighs in Indian
dishes with the Indian Food Festival which commenced on 19th March 2010
and ended last week.
The two renowned culinary experts, Master Chef T. Iyappan and Chef
Deepak Singh brought all tantalising tastebuds to a wonderful climax
with their scrumptious selections and wholesome food. The festival
offered many authentic dishes from the south and north of India and the
extensive dinner buffet has a vast variety of dishes. H.E. Ashok K.
Kantha, Indian High Commissioner in Sri Lanka graced the occasion and
opened the much awaited Indian Food Festival.
