Prasanna Batiks redefines and restyles their designs every 6 months with a strong focus about blending the perfect colour combinations. “We have an upper class segment of the population that we cater to but our emphasis is on offering the ordinary simple person a fashionable garment that defines their identity” he said.

They have signature colours asuch as magenta, apple green, orange and purple where they weave intricate designs in batik that are eye-catching and easy to wear.

“We believe that our garments should be high in quality and be comfortable for the wearer,” said Lishan. Further he said, “Most of all, we have good products at a reasonable cost because we believe that everyone should be able to afford a quality garment.”

The company has offices at Pettah, Crescat Boulevard and Majestic City. Prasanna Batiks garments are especially meant to meet the needs of all ages and different tastes that can be seen with the success of their company catering to any discerning taste.

“We have plenty of experience because we believe in giving any customer a first-class product that will last more than a lifetime” said Lishan. Their batik products are made out of local/chinese poplin, local/indian voile, viscose and pure silk that are carefully chosen to ensure the product quality. The dedication and commitment Prasanna Batiks harnesses to innovative designing coupled with high quality gives the competitive edge over other batik products. “We even offer household linen, bed spreads and other household material to blend in with your dream home” said Lishan.
