Easter day

Jesus was killed
Hanged on a cross
Jerusalem wept
Jesus was lost
Many trudged uphill
They saw a corpse
A bleeding man
Killed on the spot
Fear griped all
Knowing him as God
Retribution came
The World stood still
A moment lost
Their folly begot
The faithful walked
Anguish evident
At entombment
Mourners left
A sorry plight
world recoiled
Wife despoiled
When Sunday came
Landscape changed
The killed Jesus
Had risen again
So Easter day
Paved the way
The good Lord did,
Have HIS way.

Lord lead the way

The great election is now at hand
LORD stretch your hand over our land
A fair and free election to us bring
While our thanks and praises to you sing

Thus to You Great GOD we turn somehow
Give all: Opportunities equal and free
Let not power and money hinder voting do see?
The vote to be the voice of the people do make;
Flouting election laws, corruption stop for our sake
Impersonation and adding votes unjustly
See that its stopped now - instantly
Truth, justice, peace, goodness
Prevail in our country always; Thus the goal be won
A peaceful free election bring our way
With bended knees LORD to you I pray
The winner who ever he may be,
Lead him from now on to the end we plea
YOU who rolled back the waters of the mighty Red Sea
Will never fail us if we ask you see

Endless...

Like a wheel
Rove...... Rove...... Roving Rotating
Never ends never stops
Sometimes
Pauses at stations
To rest and starts again
Sometimes
Blows out the strength
Passes in every motion
But
There is a way to move,
Then to Quit.

Blessings of nature

With the blessings of nature
The April New Year
Will arrive on the scene
With the golden grain
Filling the barns
The fruit trees dazzle
With multi-coloured fruits
Beautiful flowers of sweet fragrance
Are a soothing balm to the eye
Pretty birds of various hues
Chirp and fly with free music

The singing star-the cuckoo bird
Proudly sings its tune
The proud Erabadu with big red flowers
With its red carpet below
And the red canopy over-head
Is proudly dancing with the wind

Families get together
Dine and enjoy together
Respecting elders, renewing good morals
The swing is on full swing
And the rabana echoes with sweet music
There's enjoyment and togetherness
Let this not be
For a single week
But through out the year
May the April blessings
Bring eternal peace to our Motherland!

A letter

A letter I am writing
To another human being
Life, goals
Both we need
Without life, no goals
Life makes, our desires
Goals and dreams come true
A life less corpse
Even if it wants to achieve
Limitless goals
When no breath is happening
All the goals are lost
The goals in the wrong directions
When it becomes one goal
The importance of the breath
The preciousness, of life
Is a human being's true achievement.

Immeasurable gift

I have an immeasurable gift
It is full of love and sharing
It is great and grows in hearts
It is wonderful and should handle
with care
It is endless and immortal
And I love it more than others
That is "FRIENDSHIP"
It could touch my heart
As cool and soft breezes
And it makes everything possible
Even impossible
That's why I love it so......
And I know how i should protect it
As it is immeasurable
Do you know?
How much a friend mean to me?
I can't express it
With my poor words and
It is subtlety in my heart
But I know friendship is like
A beautiful and fragrant flower
Which gives pleasant feelings
So that I water it everyday
And make it to bloom
More and more flowers

Lifeless lives

Twilight beneath the talipot trees
Crawls into the languid lives
Waning moon in the fenceless sky
Cuddles and hides with a tearless cry

Cry of a nursing in a wattle hut
Collects the debris of hopes at the pubescent night
Tacit wind brings odour of night flowers
Then the shrine of the heart fills with desires

Flying fireflies over the bushes
Like guns emit sudden flashes
It is only me who sit tight at night
Dying and living with a dead pan heart

On the verge of the care worn life
Scars of the dried tears, I'll sniff
When the dark smoke vanishes in the Northern sky
I'll kiss rough hands with smiling cry
