Mahamaya girls softball champs

CRICKET: Mahamaya Girls College, Kandy - the only girls school in Kandy playing softball and hardball cricket, had won the girls schools cricket tournament recently at St. Anthony's Girls College grounds, Katugastota.Mahamaya team was led by Niluka Mortimor and they beat St. Anthony's Girls School in their first match and then beat Dharmawickrema Balika, Kandy. In the final, Mahamaya beat Dharmapala Vidyalaya, Atukgama to emerge champions.
