Forbidden fruits
Poison is everything
Thou touch
Thy glance, thy hissing words
Thy secret smiles
Thy heart is poisonous
As fruits of jealousy
As blooms of ire
And lives of all mortal sins
All thy attempts
Are in vain
For I see thy fangs
Of venom and temptation
The serpent of persuasion
The agent-provocateur
Thou shalt not persuade me
To eat the forbidden fruits
Thy head shalt be crushed
By men thou deceived
Thou shalt be betrayed
By women thou charmed
Thou shalt slither down
On the sun-burnt metallic earth
And disappear into a boiling crater
Of hell-thou shalt perish
In thy own evilness

In my fantasy
In soft green meadows
Pure wind murmurs secrets
Among flexible petioles
I want them
To know!
A spider weaves a cobweb
Just like a hammock
I want to lie on it
Oh! so comfortable!
Morning dew vanishes
When the sun arrives
Come back to the earth
In the moonlit night
Where do they go?
To heaven!
A tiny fairy is sleeping
Under a soft petal
Of a half-blooming flower
Please wake up!
I want to see you
Dancing and singing!
I want all of you
To be light-hearted
I live in a pure world
No jealousy
No anger
No grief
In my fantasy!
But,
What about the real world?

Peace
Peace is Inexpressible
Peace is Inconceivable
Peace is Incomparable
Peace is Indestructible
Peace is Inalienable
Peace is Indescribable
Peace is Interminable
Peace is Invaluable
Peace is Indispensable
Peace is Incommensurable
Peace is Indomitable
Peace is Indelible
Peace is Peaceable!

Mothers were once daughters
Every home should have a daughter
For a girl is a special gift
To keep the world around her
in one continuous thing
One minute she is laughing
the next she is crying
She is soft, sweet and cuddly
but she is also wise and smart
A girl is a wondrous combination
of a mind, brain and heart
And anything she wants she gets
And she can melt a hardened heart
with her smiles
A girl starts out as a rosebud
Then through her childhood
her petals are unsealed
She's soon a sweet girl
Then a bride
And then a lovely woman
And some day in the future
if it be God's gracious will
She too, will be a mother
whose heart is filled with love
And there will be no life at all
in this world or the other
without a Darling Daughter
who, in turn, becomes a mother.

The Toyland teacher
She's a grade one teacher in a Toyland school
Lean and tall, pretty and cool
She walks into class, all dressed up in style
Then stands there gazing at the class for a while
There are greens and yellows and teddies blue
A lion, two doggies and a pink fish too
She counts them all, there are twenty and four
The dollies on a mat sit all in a row
With a stick in her hand, her voice can be heard
Teaching and singing but from the class not a word
They silently sit there, the dumb little things
She imagines she hears the school bell rings
Class dismissed, she recites a short prayer
Then wishes them goodbye, in response they stare
She'll see them tomorrow, they don't seem to care
This wonderful teacher and a class so rare
She's a smart and proud of her school
Spick and span, she aides by the rule
And a notable teacher she is, no doubt
My teacher is what this poem is about!

An entreaty
My hands are tiny
I didn't mean to drop the milk bottle
Please don't put me to sleep
When I want to play a little
Don't force me to read my book
When I feel like having a chat
Don't scold me for breaking the toys
I'm only trying to learn
Let me run about in the garden
And feel the softness of flowers
I like to run after butterflies
And get wet in the rain
Isn't it fun rolling in the sand?
It isn't good food and new dresses
That I hanker for
But your warmth and affection
Be by my side as much as you can
I'm just a tiny tot
Not a "small adult"
