 Dearest friend
 The golden sun was hiding behind the evening clouds when I first met
you after 12 long years. Those friendly eyes of yours which were close
to mine in those early days were as familiar as ever even though
distant. Now the moment I saw you, a sudden flashback brought me
memories of our childhood when you and I were best friends. But today in
our blossoming youth, how strange are we?
You won’t run and come to hold my hands as you did during our
childhood. But even today in your eyes, I could see that affection,
compassion and unshaken love you had for my little soul. Let me tell you
that your presence (though distant) always soothes me and brings me a
feeling of security, joy and placidity as if from a wind from heaven.
As the time isn’t ripe for you and I, my dearest, I had to leave you
without a smile. And ignored your most expressive eyes not because I
