Unilever owns 12 of Sri Lanka's top 100 Brands
Twelve out of Unilever Sri Lanka's 26 brands, have been honoured
among the Brand Finance's Top 100 Brand Index; Sunlight, detergent Surf,
Vim, Astra, Marmite, Signal, Sunsilk, Lux, Pears, Lifebuoy and Sri
Lankan teas, Ceylonta and Laojee.
Unilever Sri Lanka holds the reputation of being one of the
successful marketers and largest manufacturers of some of Sri Lanka's
leading FMCG brands.
According to Ruchi Gunewardene Managing Director of Brand Finance
Lanka, when we look at building brands, a primary consideration is, how
does one build a sustainable brand which continues to earn revenue for
the business year after year.

Unilever Sri Lanka, is a brand powerhouse, dominating the 2010 Brand
Index with as many as 12 brands, with Sunlight topping the list.
With a brand portfolio which consists of 26 brands that are household
names, the company currently leads in all categories it operates in and
has recorded double digit growth in the last eight consecutive years.
