Thirteen records tumble at Relay Carnival

Thirteen meet records tumbled on day two of the Sri Lanka Telecom\Mobitel Relay Carnival 2010 at the picturesque Mahinda Rajapaksa International Sports Complex at Diyagama yesterday.

The newly constructed stadium at Diyagama some twenty odd kilometres from Colombo on the Kottawa, Horana, Matthegoda road will no doubt develop into a `beauty' once it is completed. The rugby ground built adjacent to the main stadium should be an asset for rugby and an ideal venue for future international matches.

The meet will be continued today from 8.30 am.

Among the records were one club and three open whilst the rest were established by schools.
