they blamed me” !
 ‘Hip Hop Police’ is the first single of Chamillionaire’s second
album, Ultimate Victory. It features Slick Rick and was produced by J.
R. Rotem. It caught the attention of hip hop lovers all over the world
in one night and also became very popular among Sri Lankan hip hop
lovers. The entire music video or parts of it can be found in many local
hip hop music videos produced by Sri Lankan hip hop singers.
Hakeem Seriki (born November 28, 1979),better known by his stage name
Chamillionaire, is an American rapper, singer and CEO of Chamillitary
Entertainment. Chamillionaire is also the founder and an original member
of The Color Changin’ Click. He began his career independently with
local releases in 2003. Apart from ‘Hip Hop Police’, ‘Ridin’ is also
became very popular in Sri Lanka through almost all television and radio
stations playing it often.
Chamillionaire won one Grammy Award and received one nomination for
another Grammy. He had won a total of 6 various awards and received 16
nominations for various music awards.
