ANCL Vesak lantern competition

The Amadahara Vesak Sadaham Kalapaya, organised by the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL) under the patronage of Telecom, ITN and Lak Handa will be held from May 27 - 29 opposite Lake House.

The Vesak Lantern Competition and exhibition will be a highlight of the celebrations.

The first four winners will be awarded cash prizes of Rs. 200,000, Rs. 150,000, Rs. 100,000, Rs. 75,000 and Rs. 50,000. The sixth to tenth winners will receive cash prizes of Rs. 10,000 each and the other winners will receive Rs. 5,000 each.

The Vesak Bakthi Gee by Lake House employees and a Bhakthi Gee concert by popular singers will also be held to mark the occasion.A dansala has also been organised for devotees.
