CRC Regatta on June 5

The South West Monsoon Regatta conducted by the Colombo Rowing Club scheduled to be held on the Beire Lake yesterday was postponed due to prevailing bad weather, conditions.

South West Monsoon Regatta consisting of HMS Enterprise +4, RCYC - 2, Ladies Jnr 1x, Ladies Jnr 2s + and Senior Pairs will be held on 5 June from 2 p.m. at the same venue according to Dimuth Gunawardena, Secretary CRC.

This regatta will be followed with the Ranfer Sprints on June 12 and the annual Madras-Colombo Regatta, with the date to be confirmed by the Madras Boat Club.

The 2010 annual Madras-Colombo Regatta will be held in Chennai and is hosted by the Madras Boat Club.

The Colombo Rowing Club crew to represent regatta in Chennai will be announced shortly according to Waruna de Silva Captain of the boats of CRC.
