SFSL expands operations

Dr. Soma Edirisinghe lights the oil lamp at the opening of the Nugegoda branch

Swarnamahal Financial Services Ltd (SFSL) will expand the branch network to the North and the East, said Chairperson EAP Group, Dr. Soma Edirisinghe at a ceremony held at the relocation of the Nugegoda branch to No. 31/1, Stanley Thilakaratne Mawatha, Nugegoda.

She said that initially SFSL will open branches in Jaffna, Vavuniya and Trincomalee. At present SFSL has four branches and five pawning centers.

Dr. Edirisinghe said that the Nugegoda branch started in 2007 and to provide a better service to the customers in Nugegoda it became necessary to move to a more spacious and convenient location. SFSL will continue to offer customer friendly, convenient and cost effective financial solutions for individual and corporate clients to maximise the benefits offered by SFSL.

Swarnamahal Financial Services Limited is an associate company of the EAP Group incorporated in 2004 and registered by the monetary board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in August 2006.

The company’s main functions are Pawning, Leasing, Hire purchase, Factoring cum Cheque discounting, Medium Term Loans, Fixed Deposits and Savings Accounts.
